On my wall is a cheap reproduction with an antiqued decaled edge that I haven't a clue as to its
"real" history or even where I got it. Acrossed the bottom of the page it says " Found in Old Saint
Paul's Church, Baltimore. Dated 1692" At the top of the page it says "Desiderata" which I haven't
even bothered to find out the translation or meaning of. Beneath it starts.........

" Go placidly amid the noise & haste & remember what peace there may be in silence...."

For during silence you might hear a raindrop, your heart, or......
