Hello MD group,
With Diana's vote of confidence, I want to make a suggestion for an
addition to the MOQ website- an MOQ-related bibliography. This would
comprise of books (or articles/papers) which members have read and
consider to be useful in developing and expanding our collective
understanding of the MOQ. The bibliography would supplement the existing
articles and related links. This idea came to me while reading Bodvar
Skutvik's web essay- The Quality Event, wherein he cites Alan Watts
("The Way of Zen") and F.S.C. Northrop ("The Meeting of East and West") as
having "the most profound understanding of the subject".
If you'd like to share in this project, then please post your
contribution/s here on the MD list between now and July 31. (Is this
enough time?) I will then compile them as a bibliography which will be
added to the MOQ site.
It might be a good idea to follow these general guidelines when
contributing... include author, title, full publishing info + a
summary/review with reference to how title relates to/can add to our
understanding of the MOQ.
Perhaps Bo would be so kind as to set the standard with a post on Watts
and/or Northrop.
