glad to oblige.

DWEM isn't a techno thing - it stands for 'Dead White European Male' and is
derogatory to either of one of two sets of people : those who think that an
awful lot of stuff happened in Europe in the last few thousand years and it's
worthwhile paying attention to - or - those who think that the last 5000 years
should be ignored because of its ethnocentricity.

IMHO stands for [please excuse the barf] 'in my humble opinion' and is used by
people who don't have a humble opinion. IMO is less barfful as is avoids the
oxymoronic adjective 'humble'.
