1) Ken Wilbur is neat. I'm glad you've been reading his books.
2) I empathize with your negative sentiment concerning not having a degree
or credentials to your name.
Did Shakespeare have a degree? Did he ever contribute something to humanity?
What is a degree, anyway? It's a piece of paper that shows others that you
are immersed in the doctrine of the Church of Reason. It's a rite of passage
of a religion. Who says you need that paper to think?
3) Who says you need to think about something long and hard before you can
truly understand it? Isn't intuition equally important as rationality? A
further step: isn't intuition forever linked to all thought?
(Some may disagree with the above statement. I will argue my case if you
would like... >: ) Or read a previous post by me.)
I agree that filling your brain up with details is neat. It is necessary.
However, must we really defer 'thought' and 'thinking' to those who are
'educated?' Are there other ways to get this mythical 'education?'
And another thing: If you do NT things, you exercise your NT.
Regardless of what these things are...
You could be thinking about the underlying structure in stormdrains across
the U.S., or playing Diablo II, or coming up with a metaphysics based on
styrofoam...
All input is valid. All people have input. All people have Ns. Therefore,
all people have valid, N input that can contribute to this discussion.
