The recent discussions about money brought a memory to mind. I
collect comic books. I once mentioned to my then father-in-law that
one of my comics was worth several hundred dollars. His response was
"Yeah, if you can find someone with several hundred dollars who wants
to buy it."
What something is "worth" and what someone will pay for it are two
different things. Or else auctions would cease to exist.
