perfecting society? Since we are still in the middle (or perhaps the start)
of this transition, it may APPEAR to be seeking to improve society but it

Intellect, seen as a combination of than memetic patterns of value, will
move
itself ( not us by the way !!!) towards a purely intellectual plane of
existence.
We humans, those fleshy containers, are holding the Intellect back.
The point is, our brains can 't hold NO MORE info, our brain is to small,
it has to grown in order to do so, but the biological evolution is very
slow.

So, IMO, Memes, those units of information, will search for possibilites to
dispose themselves of our fleshy bodies.
One of the possibilities is to speed up our abilities to make more artefacts
( technologies) in order to speed up memetic propagation in order to make
more and than more faster new technologies to make etc...
We are killing ourselves by thinking about ourselves and we don 't even
notice it....
What a life....

Richard, my idea all- a- long. On the Memetic Discussion List I started a
thread once, concerning problems of just that.
There is no saturation point in memetic evolution, the next and properly the
only step we as humans we can afford in biological evolution is that of a
pure Intellectual state of existence. But I have doubts that we will be
around
to see it....as humans that is.

Great stuff,

Kenneth
