That's interesting, because it is not as if it contradicts any specific
empirical finding of modern science, is it? (Nobody has yet shown
experimentally how mind might be a form of matter following basic laws of
physics, or what the relationship between thinking "I want to go to the
pictures" and the law "E=mc2" is.) (What, BTW, would be your favoured method
for empirically identifying a thought?) It's more that it contradicts a
certain kind of faith held by certain kinds of scientists. Am I right?
