Yes , better channelled definitely; I didn't say it was wrong, just that,
like I said about the sci-method, people will wander round trying to pin the
tail on a donkey. as soon as they come across something which seems to be
'true' or 'good' or whatever, or a method that works, etc., they will try to
elevate it to some kind of universal status, whether the caps nearly fits,
or not remotely. So when someone discovers the marvellous tool that is
(say ) a hammer, they may sing it's praises as the answer to all their
problems. When the tool fails to live up to the staus of "absolutely
brilliant", and worse - may even prove to be capable of great harm.... there
is a tendency to lose faith, become disenchanted, become a rabid convert and
go around preaching to others to throw away their hammers! only then will
the world be a safer place!.., etc.
The problem is with people's notions of what "absolute" is, or should be
The sad fact is that most people's "absolutes" are not fit for the purpose
they were sold for - they should take them back to the shop, get their
money back.
