What exactly is the problem? Which program do you use? Is it actually
impossible or just inconvenient for you to send plain text email? I mean it
isn't exactly convenient for anyone else if you cross-post, not to mention
the fact that it disrupts the whole FAQ-building process. There are freeware
email packages available for download on the net, I'm probably not the best
person to advise on that, but I'm sure there are others here who can help
you. Or are you working behind some kind of firewall? Or is it just that the
program you've decided to use won't do plain text?
I think if you use webmail the messages are sent in plain text. Have you
looked into that?
If there's really no way you can send plain text then perhaps we can make an
exception for you in MF. It might be possible for the facilitators to
manually cut all the html out of your posts so they could be forwarded to MF
successfully. It would take us more time, but if it's only you, then we
could probably manage it. I wouldn't want to encourage that but it would
certainly be less time-consuming than having to do damage control every time
you cross-post, and most importantly it wouldn't disrupt the dialog.
Another possibility is that you could send your posts directly to me and
I'll forward them in plain text on your behalf. I'll be happy to do that for
this post if you like.
Or if those solutions don't work, then let's explore the issue and come up
with another one. I really can't believe that there is no way round the
problem.
