Maybe I misunderstood ...the sentence below is what I was reacting to....

"The science of quantum mechanics ends with the calculations of the
 Schrodinger equation and the extent to which these calculations agree
 with observation. "

The discussion seemed to hover around the connection/disconnection of mind
and matter...
....or the "Cartesian Split" as it were.....as well as the notion
of consciousness/awareness. It would be necessary to consider QM...
if one was really going to discuss this relationship..(mind/matter)... as
the growing body of
evidence supporting holism contained in QM is extremely important...and to
leave it out or downplay would be a mistake...
but I will agree that CI is just that...an interpretation of general
QM...there are many....
I tend to lean towards the "Many Worlds Interpretation"...but that's just me
at this point
in the investigation...but I would have to check to make sure that CI did
NOT play
some direct indirect role in the inventions I mentioned....
