Saint,

You ask:
Has there been an actual MOQ document extrapolated from Persig's books?

Yes.... Many have attempted to extrapolate the MoQ from LILA but none (as
far as I know) have ever succeeded to any degree of mass satisfaction.
There's an old one at the Quantonics website, and you should search the
archives from this forum for material on the Catechism of Quality and the
Principles (or maybe it was called the Principia)..... a probably dozens of
other attempts. The bottom line turns out to be that there are as many
interpretations of the MoQ as there are readers of LILA. I often like to
point out that while most in this forum are fans of Pirsig and most claim to
support the MoQ, very few actually agree on what the MoQ really says (about
most anything)--- the archives are all the proof anyone could ever ask for
in establishing the highly elusive nature of the MoQ.
