Just thought:
it's probably a lot simpler to say that "choices make us" rather than "we
make choices"
So, when I say we perceive something, what I mean is that a whole lot of
little 'choosing systems' operate (in parallel, as in parallel processing),
chosing the 'what' and the 'where' of the world around, the significance in
terms of survival, the emotonal significance, the best guess probabilities
of the behaviour of the identified what's , and so on.
So the unified 'I' is a*product* of these votive systems, as much as a cause
I'mjust playing with this, at the moment, but I've a feeling that it kind of
comes back to thinking about Q, eventually.
