I'm not an academic, I have to work for a living. I never felt comfortable
in school, and my grades reflected this. In fact you'll have to excuse me
while I turn off the radio because I can't think (intellectually) and write
and listen to music at the same time. No problem, it's an ACDC song anyway
and I've never cared for them. I wish I had had the benefit of Lila prior to
my foray into higher education because it would have explained why I was
battling an invisible beast who showed no regard for my personal welfare.
But of course Lila hadn't even been published yet. Anyway, I don't think a
day goes by that I don't gain some sense of clarity on a particular issue
because of my meager understanding of the MoQ. When Andrea mentions the
"subject of Sociology" I am brought back to an introductory course I took
that (in hindsight) was nothing more than an indoctrination into cultural
relativism (a dogma spread with the same conviction as any religion) and also
offered a vivid example of the disdain with which the Intellectual level
holds for the Social. So I guess I'm saying that the "subject of Sociology"
is the Intellect's attempt at control, if not outright destruction, of the
social level, while "social patterns" are Society's way of protecting it's
own, n'cest pas?(I wasn't the french guy)

It's very difficult for me to conceptualize, in concrete terms, something

statement.
Lastly, to my brother of the right-wing, Republican, Capitalist,
all-that-makes-our-nation-great, Mr. Platt, I'll have you know that Jasper
Johns is my all-time favorite artist!!! And though you may never be
converted to Marco's Socialist party, I will soon share my adventures of Mr.
Johns with you so that you will see the light!
