Thanks for the link Roger. I came out a definite "Left Liberal".
One question that gave me a lot of personal trouble was the one on military
conscription!
I bet that surprises you!!! I knew that answering YES would paint me as some
sort of conservative militarist. Yet, I support conscription precisely because
I am NOT a militarist. The trouble with volunteer armies is that they turn
into armies of "Army Types". I personally would NEVER volunteer.
In contrast, a conscript army is much more likely to be a peoples' army - an
army that includes people like me.
Just imagine what would happen to the justice system if juries were made up of
volunteers only. I think a representative army is just as important.
