Folks,
I'm just the border between centrist and left liberal.
This is my result: (Especially, I like the "open mind" thing. )
===========
Your Political Philosophy:
According to your answers, your political philosophy is centrist.
Centrist
Centrists favor selective government intervention and emphasize practical
solutions to current problems. They tend to keep an open mind on new issues.
Many centrists feel that government serves as a check on excessive liberty.
Your Personal Self-Government Score is 70%.
Your Economic Self-Government Score is 40%.
Scores falling on the centrist border are counted as centrist.
=============
In the end, you see I'm not a socialist! Just, it is funny a note about the
other philosophies, especially:
Authoritarian
Authoritarians want government to advance society and individuals through expert
central planning. They often doubt whether self-government is practical.
Left-authoritarians are also called socialists, while fascists are
right-authoritarians.
This is the whole issue. It is obvious that the term "socialist" has a different
meaning in the USA from Europe (two people separated by the same language!).
I think that a left liberal is to be considered, here in Italy, a socialist. Do
you agree, Andrea? Isn't this a perfect description for Fassino or Veltroni?
"Left-Liberals prefer self-government in personal matters and central
decision-making on economics. They want government to serve the disadvantaged in
the name of fairness. Leftists tolerate social diversity, but work for economic
equality. "
Marco
p.s.
I'm completely with Jonathan about the military option (even if I hated my
conscription)
p.p.s.
Roger, I forgot to say how I like your new mot
"Viva la evolution!", much better than ICBW......
