When I say I'm self-conscious I just mean that I know I think. This simple
pattern is IMO VERY intellectual. It's the difference between the human thought
and the biologic thought. That's why "thought" is NOT "intellect".
Furthermore, I think it is the first basic intellectual concept. From it we
had, in order: "Gnothi Se Auton"; "Cogito Ergo Sum"; the Bill of Human
Rights.....

No, of course. That's why it's a static pattern. It's incomplete.

Yes. The difference is that he starts from a simple, normal every-day term
(Quality) and shows that there's no need to be Lao Tzu or Jesus to know what TAO
