Dear all,

"I don't mean anything by this, believe me, but is Andrea a boy or a girl? I always thought Andrea was a girl's name, yet everyone refers to them as 'him'. Not that it makes a difference or anything, I'm just wondering."
I had been wondering about it too. I think it does make a difference. Why are there so few female members? We have to do without if not half, then at least an important part of human experience in our discussions.
(As a side-note: in Dutch we have female Andrea's and Andrée's and male Andreas'es and André's, all of them deriving from the Greek word for "man"... Is Italian really so biased?)
With friendly greetings,
Wim Nusselder
