Platt,

Whoa, whoa, whoa, back up just a little bit. We should destroy Afganistan, Palestine, and Iraq? Even after the Afghanistan government pledged its support to the US in locating Bin Laden? None of the governments of these countries rounded up terrorists and told them to do this, if that's what you're implying. The phrase 'ruthlessly annihilated' seemed a little strong as well. Did you know that Osama Bin Laden was built up largely by the US when it wanted to drive the Soviets out of Afghanistan? The US enlisted his help, funded and supplied him. So does that make us terrorists? World War 2 was completely different. That involved the action of government. (unless you think that all those Japanese planes were just a group of pilots with nothing better to do on a Sunday morning). If you're going to say something as reactionary and devoid of compassion as 'ruthlessly annihilated,' at least do your research first.
