Lest those watching this site get the impression that the views of
Rasheed, Squonk and others reflect the opinion of the majority of
Americans, the following from the latest NY Times/CBS News Poll
should dissuade them:
"Eighty-five percent said the United States should take military action
against whoever is responsible for the attacks. Seventy-five percent of
those people said the action should be mounted even if innocent
people were killed. Almost all of them said they would favor going to
war with a nation that was harboring those responsible for the attacks."
Thankfully most Americans, despite years of intellectual leftist
propaganda, can still recognize a biological threat from barbarians
when they see one. Pirsig wrote:
"Society can handle biology alone by means of prisons and guns and
police and the military. But when the intellectuals in control of society
take biology's side against society then society is caught in a cross fire
from which is has no protection." LILA, Chap. 24.
