Trinity = God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
Social humankind's MoQ trinity, the struggle between levels inherent in
humanity:
Social-->biol, Int-->Social, DQ-->int
This trinity, in sum, is life to death:
DQ-->inorganic
God the Father =
biological patterns (procreation, nourishment, food production) being brought
into a better order by a social structure. God (DQ as intellect) speaks to
particular individuals (prophets), who pass new behavior patterns through social
authority
God the Son =
intellectual quality reording biological (gender and family- or tribal -based)
society into a new order in which perceived goodness of ideas takes precedence
over goodness of social tradition, thus making men "brothers" by agreement of
intellectual pattern, in such a way that biological goodness is also maintained
God the Spirit =
DQ, when it reorders intellectual patterns in such a way that social and
biological pattern sets are also realigned in perceived goodness.
Pirsig's Buddhist balance = the conjunctive alignment of patterns on all three
levels in such a way that DQ is likely to affect all levels in perceived
goodness
The Body of Christ =
those who (both as individuals and as community) are aware of this three-level
event ( not only in intellect, but as part of a personal conversation), who are
the hands and mind of goodness in creation.
I love your discussion here. It dances through so many valuable ideas.
peace,
maggie
