Hi Wim:

I am sure you won't be surprised that, as a proponent of capitalism and
free markets, I found your review of history a bit skewed by Marxist
spectacles because of your emphasis on privilege, exploitation and
inequality. (Post to Roger dated 21 Oct.)

We've been down the road of capitalism vs. socialism on this site
many times in the past, so no need to revisit that issue unless you
want to. But I wonder what you had in mind when you made the
following statement:

"Do you recognize that the 'free enterprise global economics' is a
system of ideas developed on behalf of the privileged to legitimize their
(my and your) privileges?"

I don't know about Roger, but I "recognize" no such thing. WouId you
care to share your reasons for coming to that conclusion? What
evidence can you present that the statement is true?

Thanks.

Platt
