The putting to sleep of pattern through ritual (maintenance) certainly allows
access to Quality.
I agree we have access to Quality all the time, but it is mediated via
patterns.
The transcendent would be pure Quality - unmediated and very disruptive?
Quality is prior to pattern and that is the point of ZMM - look at the source
more than the product - a motorcycle is primarily a quality entity and
correct mediation of quality maintains an excellent machine.
Quality is in the doing after all.
