Jae,

I will say that I was very offended at your comments but I also accept your
apology. Jonathan and I have argued about this conflict before and we both
understand that I won't be able to convince him that my position is more
moral than his and vice versa. I simply told him that we are both entitled
to our own beliefs. Beneath the quibbling, I know we both want lasting peace
in the area and nothing more.

I don't know how you can accuse me of being arrogant or blind or whatever
because I said that there are hundreds of thousands of peace-loving Muslims
in the world today. Do you dispute my 'wining' about that? You're talking
about Christianity and Islam in a historical context, while I'm concerned at
the moment with present day Christianity and Islam. Who said anything about
what happened five hundred years ago? That's a different argument for a
different time.

Also, you accusing Jonathan, who has lived and raised a family in Israel, of
subscribing to neo-liberalist viewpoints is very arrogant on your part.

Lastly, believe it or not, it doesn't comfort me that you despise
Christianity more than Islam.

Rasheed
