Now as for Hinduism - that's a cool religoun! Not quite my style, but I'd much rather chill-out with a bunch of Hindus than a bunch of Christians.
That's true about Muhammid actually, come to think of it. Still, I beleive on the whole he was a better guy than, oh, say Thomas Jefferson. At the very least he was much more selfless a person, and lived a much harder life.
I was waiting for someone to mention the truth about Judaism. Yes, it's true, we have had quite a lot of violence in our past, but I would go so far as to say the the Judiasm that I and Jon are a part of are a far cry from those early Cannanite dwellers who so mercilessly crushed anyone who stood in their paths and so valliantly threw off Roman and Greek rule a couple times.
Oh and Jon, Christianity of one form or another actually existed from before Jesus died. I beleive the conception that you were refering to is probably the formal birth of the church. In which case, yes, that happened at least 4 centuries after 'Jesus' death. In any case, I just plain prefer the eastern religouns to the western ones on the basis that no one ever killed anyone else in the name of Buddah or Lao-Tzu. Why is there such a problem with that???
