Hi Jay,
>When MOQ is released (we hope and pray soon) then I feel we can debae
>how 'vague', biassed, unobjective, or whatever else Pirsig is being in the
MOQ. Until then we
>can simply interpret the ramblings of a Buddhist that had stong Objectistic
viewpoints that
>lead him to, in essence, destroy his personal life in a neverending quest
for Metaphysical and
>philosphic truths.
And that's exactly what we do. :)
Interpretation can, and should, include critics. Or any philosophical book
would degenerate into a new Bible. The frontier between "The Word of God"
and "The Word of the Author" can be a pretty thin one, at times. :-/
Go easy
