My opinions follow:

And you neglect to quote Chomsky's reply to that where
he says he accuses him of the "exact opposite" of
racist contempt, which would be "love of his own
people." You can love your own people too much WITHOUT
having racist contempt. It's more like our self-love
blinds us to the import of the deaths of other people.
Denial is not "racist contempt" but can be as lethal.
And that's the point Chomsky is making: we love our
own people and we so easily dismiss the death of the
unseen foreigners who we lob missiles at. In true
inflamatory nature of this forum, I must name your
omission a "Platt-y-puss", a form of natural omission.
