If you read John's posting, you may note that he refers to static quality.
I merely tried to turn this around and show John how static his thinking is?

Also, i find John's tone when discussing Pirsig to be rather flippant.
And yet, when i mirror this people become distraught!
I must admit, i find this most perpelexing?

Maybe failing to see those attributes in oneself that appear so vividly in
others is a value trap we all have to deal with?

In a spirit of friendliness, i should like to offer my hand, stop playing
silly games, and set a worthy example.
