ERIN:
I think evolution needs to be recognized as a global pattern or else it will
never pass the Nazi test. I think we need to conscientiously use culture for
the good of the whole earth community. Somewhere I remember reading in the
archives someone describing the earth as an organism. Although some cultures
may have higher status if they are doing damage to this organism it makes me
wonder about that quote in the Matrix where that guy describes humans as a
virus. If we are more worried about our own survival than our host it is kind
of true no?
ROG:
Hence the plea for harmony across the greatest span and depth.
Harmony across span: Individuals cooperate to form organizations,
organizations cooperate to form societies, societies cooperate to form
stable, self supportive international entities.
Harmony across depth: Science and art work together to lead cooperative,
dynamic societies to live in harmony with the people, the earth and its
resources and other living things.
That is quality, and that is what we strive for, try to understand, and
attempt to create. (of course we need to be dynamic and even competitive in
a good way to constantly drive the creative momentum, but that is another
thread).
But I could be wrong,
Rog
