Hey Platt,

I'd assume you'd evalute the options and decide for yourself rather than
blindly following some 'credentials'. Try this "Opinion: A belief resting
on grounds insufficient to produce [absolute] certainty." Does that make
you happier?

 PLATT:
You seem to be certain that you "have no clue . . . "

RICK:
Yes... I am provisonally certain that I have no clue... I am as certain as
the grounds of which I am aware will allow me to be.

RICK:

PLATT

RICK
Variety??? Are you now suggesting that 'valid' and 'certain' and
synonomous? If you're not, than this substitution was misdirection, not
variety. If you are, are saying that you would refuse to acknowldge the
validty of anything you aren't absolutely certain of?

 PLATT
> All is provisional. Anything goes. War is peace, freedom is slavery,

RICK
No.... All MAYBE provisional. Anything MAY go. War MAYBE peace, freedom
MAYBE slavery, ignorance MAYBE strength.... Probably not. But Maybe.

PLATT
Right. You can't even be certain that you can't be certain.

RICK:
Now you get it. I'm glad I could help you understand.
