Dear John B.,

3WD has also kindly visualized my suggestion to integrate Wilber
and Pirsig. Both diagrams can be found now on my website:
www.antenna.nl/wim.nusselder/moq/wilbermoq.pdf and
www.antenna.nl/wim.nusselder/moq/wilbermoq2.pdf .
There are indeed some problems to be sorted out. Wilber and
Pirsig don't fit 100% in any way, so we have to adapt one or the
other or both to integrate them. I still think equating quadrants
and Q-levels to be a possible way to do so. One can of course
present this integration graphically in other ways too. Maybe
skipping gradually more lower levels of 'evolutionary arrows'
when moving clockwise from inorganic to intellectual might
produce a better fit?

How does your 'personal truth' relate to something like
'transpersonal truth'?!?
Your suspicion about familiarity of Quakers with your kind of
quest is probably true. Most Quakers however do stay very
practical and oriented to making the world (beyond our 'person')
a better place in. They/we are/want to be mystics and social
activists at the same time. I don't recognize that last part very
clearly in your writings.

I would be very happy to explore ways to communicate 'above' the
intellectual level. I think the MoQ contains a lot of clues for
that too. I commented before (e.g. 10/6/01 12:02 +0100 and
17/6/01 21:48 +0100) on the need for paradox and metaphor if we
want to reach beyond intellect toward DQ.

How do I keep track of old posts? See my 9/1 19:55 +0100 post on
'how to cope with mail overload' ... (-:

With friendly greetings,

Wim
