Dear Gavin,

I sympathize with everything you wrote 6/2 4:55 -0800 AND I do
trust/believe (in a for me religious sense) that 'we' (not
necessarily 'I') are moving towards DQ. I don't have 'blind
faith' in the migration of the static patterns of values we
humans identify with (because they may be the ones that are
degenerate and have to make place for more dynamic ones), but
still I intuitively know that there is a general migration
towards DQ and that we are part of it. Evolution is a collection
of experiments of which most fail. Calling the rest 'cul-de-sacs'
is true but doesn't do justice to their Meaning as experiments,
as 'at least having tried to do something about it'.

With friendly greetings,

Wim
