i came out near gandhi also.

i think the vertical line being a measure of individual freedom corresponds well to intellectual value.

is the horizontal line a measure of economic freedom? the neo-liberals seem to treat the economy as an actual entity separate from society and history (reifying it i suppose), such that they accord this abstraction more value than the individuals who create it. i think this is a good description of SOM (putting the abstract before the real). on the other hand more planned economic practice elevates the individual (an agent of DQ) above the abstract. this seems more MOQish to me

so... vert axis = measure of intellectual value (-ve value on scale = greater intellectual value) and..

horiz axis = a measure of MOQ/SOM perspective (with -ve values = MoQ and +ve values = SOM)
