I was just wondering if anyone would have anything to
say about the morality of human cloning from a
MOQ-point of view. It would seem moral to me because
the creation of life (birth) is a Dynamic event. A
human is a source of thought so wouldn't it be moral
to create one? I would love to here some comments.

The morality of cloning is informed in the West from a Christian ethical
basis.
But the MOQ may suggest that clones are little more than biological patterns
of value?
A clone would be assimilated by the dominant social values and potential
fountains of intellectual patterns also.
10,000 clones would presumably constitute a new type of human society with it
being rather similar to a colony?
The social values of such a colony would reflect the rather static nature of
its biological foundation?
Perhaps we should all remember that bio-diversity is a 'law' of nature, and
for intellect to mess about too much in this area may well spell disaster?
As with most areas of evolution, balance between the static and dynamic is of
subtle importance.
All the best,
Squonk.
