I think Bard has a point, but the problem here is simply that our language is
insufficient at describing certain essences. The word "mysticism" has broad
applications, but not everyone sees it broadly: many will focus on one small
part of its definition and believe it to be the whole meaning, while another
will do the same with another part of it. Therefore, it is difficult to get
at the real meaning as understood by different people. But it does seem a
little ridiculous to try to outlaw a word based on one's own connotations. I
suggest we drop the subject.
