Pirsig modified James by adding that direct experience equals Quality.
But, here's a conundrum I've pondered many a day:
Quality that created pure experience is by pure experience created.
Although I'm with those who view logic as limited (whether spatial or
temporal as Angus argues though in truth I don't understand the
difference), I wonder if any of you gentlemen (or ladies) have a solution
to the above apparent paradox besides an appeal to mystic revelation.
