Elliot:
I forgot what i wrote, but i'll respond anyway. regardless of how you see
it, collective morality imposes morality upon individuals. Notice how the
collective morality of america imposes its morality about drugs onto its
citizens. It isnt an either or thing in general, but on each issue it come
down to wehter an individual has his own moral stance or if he submits to a
larger collective one imposed upon him. To say you have a collective
morality that respects the individual moral choices of people is to say
that you just have less of a colelctive morality. Collective morality says
"diversity ok" which just hands down the choice to the individuals, if it
said anything else it might be in opposition to individuals and there would
be conflict (and i assume the sollective with armies and what not would
win". Please give examples of collective morality that doesnt make
decsions for individuals (cause right now under this collective morality,
my tax dollars are being used to murder people, and that certainly
conflicts with my personal morality)

Elliot

PS, when you respond might you beable to include what i wrote in the first
place? sorry.
