Says Wavedave, but I wonder ...if in the future some contact with
extra-terrestials (tongue in cheek) should be made, would it be
impossible that they have reached the social and intellectual stages?
(the inorganic and biological are obvious). Speculations naturally and I
am not sure myself what such an encounter would mean, but would like
to know your opinion.

How can you say that the MOQ says "man is the measure of all
things"? OK, Phaedrus of ZAMM sympathizing with the Sophists (of
which Protagoras with the said proverb is the most famous) ) looks like
the Quality idea is a retro-movement to the said stance, but that is to
ignore MOQ proper. In it's light the Greek experience is Intellect
breaking free from social dominance and accordingly: What the
Sophists stands for is social value: EVERYTHING IS WHAT SOCIETY
(MAN) DECIDES! Maybe it's important to disagree with me, but how
this obvious point - where the MOQ really sparkles - can be overlooked
is a mystery.

I will content myself with this.
