Rather stupid! That was for me no? Spare us John. Who was it that
came on with remarks about Pirsig's ideas being "crap" and other
aussie expressions and has kept up the attacks ever since? I have
nothing against critique - attacks even - if from a point of faintly
understanding it - like Struan before he turned sour - but you have
never grasped the very first thing about it. Remember when you joined
this discussion and in turn drove people nuts by being completely
oblivious to what your opponent said, droning on about your - then - pet
idea. Now it is Wilber, always someone saying something better and
deeper than Pirsig and never for the purpose of higlighting the MOQ,
with just a perfunctory "quality" thrown in now and then to justify your
participation.
"Virulent form of MOQ fundamentalism" Ha! As if this small circle is
some word-wide religion with Ayathollas suppressing the free word? A
little group of people who consider MOQ the most important idea of the
last century having this forum only to discuss it and then being accused
of fundamentalism for wanting to keep the channel open! I am not
angry with you John, you may be the nicest person around, but when
you obviously want this discussion brought as far away away from
Pirsig's ideas as possible - and then start whining when someone
want's it back on track - it's too much. Endearing yourself towards Platt,
3WD and DMB may help - for a while, but I guess they don't want to be
bored to death ;-).
