Perhaps an example of "different universes" can be illustrated by
comparing the standard SOM version of evolution with an MOQ version.

In the SOM universe, genes are selfish, mutations that carry the
process forward are mistakes in copying, and striving for new life
forms are struggles for survival.

In the MOQ universe, genes are building blocks of value, mutations are
vehicles for the emergence of better life forms, and the striving for life
is a striving for realization of a higher moral order.

But I could be wrong.
