I had just sent a post to you when your latest arrived, Erin.
I really like what you quoted. It seems to me to capture the essence of what
the mystics are saying.
I see Pirsig as something of a 'mystic-manque', a would be mystic, as I
suspect I am at present.
Wim is arguing from his experience within the Quaker community, more of a
Wilber orientation, look at what is and extrapolate from it. Probably both
are right. However, I think the quotes Erin has sent help fill out my
concern with the social justice orientation.
I suspect I am searching for a middle way, if one can exist.
