SQUONK:
The measurement of material wealth does not necessarily produce an indication
of quality.

ROG:
If it isn't an indication of quality, what is it? Are you suggesting that
everything is made up of value -- except wealth?

Alternatively, I can interpret your statement to mean that material wealth --
by itself --is an insufficient measure of quality. If this is what you
meant, then I agree.

SQUONK:
If i were poor but completely unafraid of unemployment and free to be
creative without 'enjoying fewer material goods' i rather feel i should be
happier than living in fear of losing my job and not being able to afford
health care.

ROG:
So are you saying that life would be grand if you could sit around without a
care, do whatever you want and be guaranteed everything you need?

I guess I can understand why somebody would value this lifestyle. However,
could you please explain who it is that produces all the goods you get and
why it is that doctors and other health care providers aren't allowed to
share in your creative utopia? Are they your slaves? Are there all kinds of
slaves behind the scene? Who gets to determine who is a slave and who is a
creative, carefree, lolly-gagger?

Rog
