Hi Wim:

Just a couple of comments. For the most part we agree on the
interpretation of the MOQ.

I base my conclusion about "towards greater freedom" on these two
quotes from LILA:

"Dynamic Quality is the pre-intellectual cutting edge of realty, the
source of all things, completely simple and always new. It was the
moral force that had motivated the brujo in Zuni. It contains no pattern of
fixed rewards and punishments. Its only perceived good is freedom and
its only perceived evil is static quality itself-any pattern of one-sided
fixed values that tries to contain and kill the ongoing free force of life."
(Chap. 9)

"But in a value-centered explanation of evolution they are close to the
Dynamic process itself, pulling the pattern of life forward to greater
levels of versatility and freedom." (Chap 11)

I don't think the test of truth is always and necessarily governed by its
contribution to social values. The truth of the low quality of sitting on a
hot stove is biological level is it not? Many "truths" involving one's
personal and individual bio-level physical body patterns are similar. The
truth that only a living being (individual) can respond to DQ seems to
refute the notion that the test of truth is always a social level
requirement.

I wish I understood Dutch as well as you understand English. Since I
don't, I'll have to be patient in looking forward to more about your ideas
about astrology.
