The little sperm who beat a million competitors to your mother's egg
might be justifiably miffed at your conclusion that his victory was just a
matter of luck. He could point out that he had a goal or purpose which
he valued very highly, in fact, supremely. If we observed his behavior
under a microscope, we could easily conclude he was a highly
motivated little guy pursuing a high Quality outcome.
You attribute to chance and luck supernatural power that "allows
dynamism" to play a role in the lower levels. Well, we all rely on faith to
to some extent to explain the world. Science often claims to be free of
unprovable assumptions, blithely ignoring its faith in empiricism,
externalism, determinism, reductionism, mechanism, Darwinism and
humanism.
Choosing the best explanation is a good example of free will, and I
choose the MOQ over the others. I have faith that some things are
indeed better than others at all levels, including the coming together of
the cells that eventually created you. (-:
