Hello Darrell and welcome.
Most of the abbreviations derive from Pirsig's writings (which if you
haven't read them yet we would warmly recommend ;-) )
MoQ = Metaphysics of Quality, which is Pirsig's overall philosophy
DQ = Dynamic Quality, the 'cutting edge' of reality from which all things
derive. It is a fundamentally moral phenomenon
SQ = Static Quality, the accumulation of DQ developments in particular forms
and at discrete levels
Have a trawl around the MoQ site, the essays and archives. It should provide
enough of a steer, although nothing replaces reading the 'set texts'
themselves.
