Although I do think it is a good idea for me to stop calling
Bush (or anybody) stupid and that topics here stick more to MOQ I would like
to say this:
1.I think topics have strayed because if you haven't read
Rorty then there is really nothing to discuss.
I am guessing then don't discuss anything would be
the response but I would like to challenge the
scolders to come up with some interesting thread/discussion
questions so the topic doesn't have to stray.
In other words can you supplement your
contribution of 'don't talk
about that' with a suggestion of what to talk about.
2. Paco,as for your scolding do you get any perks at
your coorporation job for defending Bush-just kidding.
Seriously I think you are just as guilty as stooping to the 'stupid
accusation' but you are much more flowery and subtle and so I guess innocent.
flowery example:
an argument made by disney, romantics,(whatever else no archives)'.
subtle example:
The argument has always been that the BUSH IS STUPID
>position says a heck of a lot more about those that
>write it than about the intended target.
So I am going to conclude that 'take it up a notch'
means become flowery and subtle insulters.
I will try but as you can tell I prefer the blunt
style.
