Hello Darrell,
I am new to the forum and i empathise with your post. But i have a problem,
and the problem is arte or excellence, or social quality as the MOQ may have
it. In the MOQ social quality is the organising force and this looks like
celebrity status. A celebrity may have high biological and intellectual value
also, and if so all the more arte. These are the rules of life's happy game,
and to my mind there is little room for a Jesus or a person who simply wishes
to be in harmony with the All. And i feel these later feeling are at odds
with their society and this leads to distress and pathological mental states,
castigation or death. So, if arte is high human quality, does that involve
judgement or should simple appreciation of the art of a good life suffice?
Maybe Jesus had exceptional arte? Maybe Jesus was a supreme work of art?
The message Jesus gave is so simple isn't it? It's so easy, but at odds with
aggression. Maybe that's why many have interpreted those words for their own
ends and with little regard for their beauty?

Peter.
