I have tried to argue this before during discussions about the four
levels -- when it's not clear which level something is at you should
look at its purpose or cause. But, as I think you're saying, the thing
to remember is that the levels don't *have* purposes, they *are*
purposes. So in MoQ, far from being a platypus, purpose is the very
essence of everything.
