To return to Glove's objection, he wrote: "If a fifth level called
mysticism is added, then what we are doing is attempting to encapsulate
Dynamic Quality, to turn it into a concept. This is the most compelling
argument I can give[.]"

Indeed, I feel this is the most compelling argument in favor of adding the
mystic level. Currently, everything we say about mysticism tends to get
heaped upon Dynamic Quality. By failing to separate the static practice of
mysticism from Dynamic Quality, we taint the undefinable purity of It - we
allow static definitions in the back door.

Glove:

I find this fascinating! I agree with what you are saying and I agree that
you are just as right as I am. By even talking about mysticism are we
tainting the undefinable purity of it? of course we are. You say:

The whole point of Lila and the Metaphysics of Quality is to proclaim the
supremacy of Dynamic Quality!

Glove:

My point exactly! When one enters the freedom of Dynamic mysticism static
quality patterns of value are no longer of any concern, just as for the
average Joe/Jane who values static quality very highly, Dynamic mysticism is
not
a concern. Its all about value! What is it that you value? If one values
static quality, then mysticism becomes just so much more static
quality...the 5th level if you will. If one values Dynamic mysticism, what
becomes of static quality? Isn't that the real concern here?

This really goes back to the discussion we were having last month concerning
static and Dynamic Quality and whether the two can be used in a simultaneous
manner, which I argue against. If one slips completely into mysticism, they
no longer value this static quality world as we understand it to be. If you
wish to call "it" another realm of existence, perhaps you would be correct,
I couldn't really say. Its all about value.

Best wishes,

glove
