Hi All
All the recent talk of the wonderful Dynamic Value in a free market
economy has left me feeling quite ill.
Ghandi was once asked by a Western visitor what he thought of
Western civilization. "I think it would be a good idea" Ghandi replied.
Is there anyone out there who is still naive enough and sufficiently
blinkered to actually believe that the market to which you refer is
FREE???? Are you stark staring bonkers!!!!!? Have you swallowed
the corporate propaganda whole and still want more?
If you would like to find out a bit more about your precious free
market and its corporate advocates, both within and without
governments, and what they actually mean by a FREE market then
perhaps you could spend some time and effort on the Web looking at
the Multilateral Agreement on Investment (MAI) and its implications -
a quick search at Yahoo or Hotbot or most search engines will
suffice.
Apply the MOQ to what this is about and you will find that Pirsig
missed an enormous battle going on between the Social and the
Intellectual orders. Corporatism and its Social Value is the biggest
threat to Intellectual Value imaginable. The "free market" is pure
social level garbage. It does not exist, it has never existed and, in all
likelihood will never exist in anything like the form you seem to
believe in.
