Bob replies:
Actually the last time I got a comment like that was debating a Randian
Objectivist. I pointed out the philosophy was a combination of Nazi
Ubermensch philosophy, narcissistic personality disorder and a profound
misunderstanding of the free market. The response I got was "Did you
even read the books? Well, if you did you sure didn't understand them!"
Indeed I have read Lila and ZMM. And reread them. And reread them. And
still I say that while Marxism and its cousins are Intellectual
constructs, the values they espouse (envy [related to hate] and theft)
are biological values, enforced by the biological violence of the State.
Being opposed to natural law and society, they destroy both.
You're quite right--the argument is going nowhere. But I will make a
prediction. Attempts to twist the MoQ is support socialism and its
brothers will regulate the MoQ to the status of a marginal philosophy.
Only its use to support natural rights and liberty will advance its
cause. Only time will tell.
